Prompt Library / privacy

Prompt Library privacy policy

What the app saves, how it uses that data, and how you can export or delete it.

Effective 14 October 2026

Who operates the app

Prompt Library is operated by Abdallah Arslan. This policy covers the Prompt Library application and its saved library data. Contact arslan.abdallah@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests. Please keep private draft contents and credentials out of public GitHub issues.

Adults only (18+)

Prompt Library is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. Do not use the app if you are under 18. The app displays an eligibility notice; that notice does not technically verify age, and the app does not collect a date of birth for age verification. If information about someone under 18 has been provided, contact the operator about removal from the app's active database.

Information the app handles

The app receives the template content and field values you deliberately provide through its interface or through ChatGPT tool calls. Saved custom templates include their title, description, category, body, and timestamps. Saved drafts include a template snapshot, field values and their source labels, any supporting evidence supplied with those values, a version number, and timestamps.

The hosting service supplies an authenticated user identifier, which the app uses to keep each user's saved records separate. Authentication may also supply profile information such as a name or email address; the app's library database does not store those profile fields. If you contact support, the operator receives the message and contact information you choose to send.

When the usage-limited version is activated, the app also stores minute-level request and write counts against the hosting service's opaque authenticated user identifier. These counters enforce usage limits across the normal library and the separate Demo workspace. A global aggregate counter also limits traffic. The counters contain no template or draft contents.

The app server cannot independently retrieve your chat history. ChatGPT may send relevant field values from the context available to it when you ask it to fill or revise a draft. Avoid putting passwords, payment-card details, protected health information, or other sensitive information into templates or drafts.

How information is used and hosted

Library data is used to save, reopen, edit, render, export, and delete your templates and drafts. The app performs deterministic placeholder substitution; reviewing inferred values remains your responsibility. Support messages are used to respond to the request and investigate the reported issue.

The app runs on OpenAI's ChatGPT Sites infrastructure with Cloudflare hosting and database services. These providers process information needed to authenticate users, operate the service, and store app records. Their own privacy policies and your account settings govern their handling of information, including service logs and backups. Sites does not offer a data-residency guarantee.

Prompt Library adds no advertising or analytics trackers, sells no library data, and uses no separate model-training integration. This statement describes the app's integrations; it does not override ChatGPT, OpenAI, or Cloudflare's own terms and data controls.

Retention, export, and deletion

Saved templates and drafts remain in the app's active database until you delete them or request deletion. In the app's Your Data controls, you can export your saved records or delete your active saved library data after explicit confirmation. Built-in sample templates remain available. You can also contact the operator to request access, correction, or deletion; the operator may need to verify which account the request concerns.

Usage counters are separate from saved library content and are not included in content export or removed by content deletion. A later request replaces an account's older minute bucket. Inactive counters become eligible for cleanup after two minute boundaries; later requests remove up to 100 stale rows at a time. Counters can remain longer when no requests occur or cleanup has a backlog. This is not a guaranteed deletion deadline.

Deletion removes the affected records from the app's active database. It does not delete your ChatGPT conversation, files or text you previously exported or copied, or provider backups immediately. Those copies follow the controls and retention practices of their respective services. Support correspondence is kept while needed to resolve the request or meet applicable obligations; contact the operator with deletion questions.

Changes and your rights

Applicable privacy rights depend on your location. Contact the operator to exercise those rights or ask about this policy. Material changes to the app's data practices will be reflected on this page before they apply to new collection or uses.
